“Uh… I… he overheard us and- well… he wants to… according to him the king, uh…” he can’t get it out, staring down more to avoid Nexus’ gaze as it leaves into the next hallway

well if he wants to fight the king then so be it *hums* then good idea to find a way to escape if it foes to far

*oh dear, it's not that they don't wany to stop him but they're not exactly sure how, they chase after Cane*

hmm, that´s too bad *they hum softly* he sounds like a good king

“Well clearly not.” Maple spits out a bone or two. “Leaves his people to starve. Weak.”

well smart thing would have been to keep reserves when harvest was bountiful but naturally I know nothing about this kingdom, *hums* but if this is the only food in the castle, doesn't that mean the king eats this as well?
