However, even though swimming provides a great advantage to your body, too much swimming activities can also harm your health. When you’re swimming in a swimming pool, you're exposed to chlorine. Chlorine is used to disinfect the pool and kill bacteria but too much exposure to chlorine may harm your lungs.
