Espio and Charmy both having crazy love lives will never not be funny to me. Also I hadn't really thought too much about how I imagine Charmy falling for Sage, but I do think it would be really funny if he was sent on a mission to either capture her to stop her from doing something and then that's when he decided "Oh wait I think I'm in love with her" because then it would be similar to how Espio met and then immediately fell in love with Silver lmao.

Vector the Crocodile- Seaside City, on the outside it seems like a fine place to live, but if you look deeper it will show you its true colors. From gambling on Chao races to Wispon smuggling. If it’s illegal you can find it here and it all happens under the purview of one person, Clutch the Opossum, a wealthy recluse and the leader of organized crime throughout the city. This isn’t Clutch’s story however, not yet at least, this is the story of a crocodile who started at the bottom.

Vector is one of the many people working under Clutch. He used to be a private detective taking cases from whoever could pay, he even had his own office. That was until rent got too high and jobs weren’t coming in fast enough, he got evicted and lost his agency. Without a home and no money coming in he got desperate for work, and Seaside City has a way of wearing you down. He eventually caved and started working for Clutch’s organization.

But that’s history, now Vector is close to the top. He’s very good at what he does, collecting information. Knowledge is power and Vector is great at gaining knowledge. Blackmail, evidence, secrets, he can find whatever is needed. All it takes is some classic detective skills, his own muscle, and his two lackeys. Much like the city he calls home Vector has two faces, on the outside he seems like a dumb mobster who lifted his personality straight from old mob movies. If you really know him though you will find a crocodile who is as clever as they come and is always thinking of a way to get ahead.

Recently Vector has had his eyes set high, the highest they can go, Clutch’s position. Vector has been paying attention and he’s noticed Clutch is slowing down. He’s getting old and it’s clear his heart isn’t in it anymore. His compatriots know better than to question him however, everyone except for Vector. He’s been talking to the other members and while they would never help with a coup if something were to happen to Clutch they would be fine with Vector leading. Now it’s a simple matter of getting rid of Clutch. Then no more ratty office, no more landlord, and no more scraping by. Vector is going to make sure he never goes back to that life.

Sonic the Hedgehog - the blue blur himself. Sonic lives for adventure, but he never learned self control or the ability to accept being bored so he runs around the world looking for trouble, and when he can't find it, he just decides to make it himself. He is bad news no matter how you look at it, but how bad that news is changes wildly depending on the day. Sometimes he has the temperament of a rowdy teenager using his power to be a jerk for his own amusement, on days like these the worst that happens is the closest town has to spend the week cleaning up his mess.

However, on a bad day, he has laid waste to entire cities. The only thing that has proven effective at staving off his boredom is destroying the Helpniks or whatever robot Mr. Tinker makes to keep him entertained. Sonic has occasionally saved the world when he decided it was exciting enough. The day everything went wrong though was the day he asked, out of pure boredom mind you, "What if I ruled the world?" That is when his ultimate adventure began.

Background- This AU is inspired by Transformers Shattered Glass which is an alternate universe where the morality of every character is switched good becoming evil and evil becoming good. This is my take on that concept, but in the Sonic universe, this will mostly focus on the IDW time scale, with most of the action happening after my version of forces. Of course, everything is subject to change if I feel like it.

Anyway, this AU is going to mostly be made up of character profiles for all of our alternate buddies. The biggest disclaimer here is that all characters will be based on the IDW comics since that is what l am familiar with and I have only a passing knowledge of Scourge so any similarities are pure coincidence. Either way onto the main attraction.
