i can relate to max too much lmao. specifically bc i too get nauseous very often for no good reason. took way too long to get diagnosed with MCAS, which ended up being the main cause of my chronic nausea issues. antihistamines are a fucking godsend, work better than zofran it’s crazy.
but yeah, every time i eat anything i feel all gross it’s greaaaaat

I've had so many people ask me for a formal diagnosis for Max, but I truly dont have any, he's just plagued with the horrors. Antihistamines tho??? INSANE
Granted I think I was given phernergan for nausea once? So that tracks!
its sorta like being allergic to everything and nothing at the same time.
like one day a food may make me nauseous, another it may not, and some things i always react to. it’s weird lol. i have a very specific list of safe foods i don’t usually react to.
it’s not just eating ofc, i can react to things i touch or breathe in too, and there’s other shit, but my main problem has been food reactions.
antihistamines like zyrtec, pepsid, allegra, and the prescription meds often stop or lessen a reaction in like half an hour-ish, but benadryl isn’t a good thing to take regularly lmao. i also keep epi pens on me bc it can full on cause anaphylaxis, but i’ve never been that bad thank fuck.
it sounds like a lot, and it is, but it’s not something i want people to worry too much about or feel bad for me. i’m doing pretty well atm.

and yes i have been writing again, it’s been hectic recently. like dudes, i have three appointments next week that rapidly get more serious and lowkey that makes me laugh
1. new neurologist yay
2. mri on my hip bc of worsening chronic pain that’s waking me up at night. i got an xray a few days ago, and apparently i have hip dysplasia? (my mom called me a labrador immediately after i told her) so, it means the sockets are too shallow for the ball joint wtf
3. finally getting my wisdom teeth out at the age of 22 (one is sideways and i had literally no idea. they were shocked when i said it wasn’t painful)
i’m very nervous for that last one. EDS is known to cause many complications during surgeries and procedures :,)
but anyway, i am HOPING to be writing more soon but who fuckin knows at this point lmao

Now, if you've never posted here before, I'd recommend posting 1-3 fics with your new OCs, then making an intro post for them and, I cannot stress this enough, interact with your favorite authors so they know you're a new blog!

scrambling around and sobbing while trying to find my birth control because i have endometriosis and that pill is the reason i haven’t had my period in almost two years, then my mom coming to help and finding it in ten minutes.
cut to me five minutes later quietly sorting my meds out for the week with a smile on my face. i like to sort things. specifically small things. i used to purposefully mix up my beads so i could resort them and then mix them again and go over and over for hours.
yeah and i wasn’t given an autism diagnosis until 21.
