A Much-Belated Update Post
Phew, Iâve been away from Tumblr for a long time!
Life really grabbed me by the throat and threw me into an abyss of darkness, for lack of a better analogy. I finished graduate school, moved back to the U.S., and started grad school again, because I am apparently a masochist. I went through several health issues (including catching The Thing earlier this year), and entirely forgot to look after this blog.
I still enjoy Kuroshitsuji, but Iâve fallen out of love with it and have moved on to other media. In a funny example of ambivalence, I still want to reconnect with this fandom and talk about this series, but Iâm aware of my potent dislike for Tumblr that emerged over the past few years. Essentially Iâm in a gray area regarding my feelings about the series and about this platform.
What does this mean for this blog?
Iâm still not sure.
Admittedly, I am still going through a lot of stress in my personal life, my career, and the state of my health. Itâs impacting my ability to evaluate my commitment to this blog, and I neither want to outright shut shop nor make a comeback only to flake later. Going for a route with no regrets is taking more time than I thought it would.
That being said, Iâm going to present the unsatisfactory conclusion that this blog is still under hiatusâhowever, I will make an effort to try to be active again (no promises because my day-to-day is unpredictable and unstable!).
To those of you who are still following this blog, thank you. I did not have much to offer back then, and I still have very little to contribute now. However, Iâm grateful to all of you for sticking around. :)
