My favourite book is The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, the entire thing is just written so beautifully that it feels poignant and poetic even when nothing that deep is actually happening.

My favourite poet/playwright is Oscar Wilde, I love The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Importance of Being Ernest and The Happy Prince but I also love the private letters he wrote to Bosie if they count?? The way he writes to him is so eloquent and warm, like hell, if I were Bosie i’d be swept off my feet too lmao. Oscar Wilde’s spot as my favourite is very closely followed by the romantic poets Lord Byron and Percy Shelley though, Ozymandias is one of my favourite poems ever, infodumping about its meaning to people is like my favourite hobby lol.

Also not sure if these count but had to throw them in, the lyricism in Beatles songs, particularly the latter half of Beatles songs and into John, Paul and George’s solo careers, lyrics are my favourite part about music and I think they were some of the best lyricists the world has ever had.
