I was given the email address of the social media coordinator so I sent along the best images. Looking back there was a bit of trouble with focus because the crowds were huge and I would’ve benefitted from a faster shutter speed. However the experience has taught me a lot about live events.   

One thing I have definitely improved on is remembering to shoot in raw which makes the editing process so much easier. The day before the deadline I had to work out how to make a pdf with two pages from seperate files at a specific size.  I started by making one on word but the quality was awful so I saved the original files as photoshop pdfs. After speaking to people in the studio, talking to David and getting advice from people in my crit it was suggested to remove the boy because  he didn’t look very developed as a drawing. As well as this people liked the texture of the red text  layer so I decided to use it as the background for the back cover. There was a certain amount of text that had to be part of the book cover especially for the back of the book which is something I was apprehensive about as working with text is something I’ve recently started doing I thought the best way to overcome this was to play with the background first and slot in the text after.
