Which is? Part of me hopes death, but a darker part of me hopes it’s something worse; for example, twenty-five years with no parole. Imagine that. Being locked up while life moves on without you. By the time you’re released, the best years of your life are over, gone; you’ll be old, outdated, alone. That’s dark. That’s brutal. Especially if she didn’t do anything, and was only imprisoned to satisfy a man’s sick desires.
