Sea of Wisdom

We all have someone who we regret saying ‘I love you’ to. We all have someone who we regret never saying 'I’m sorry’ to.

You are like a beautiful storm, the roaring thunder of emotions, the enchanting rain of regrets, but after the storm, The skies are still blue again, and the flowers still bloom again.

And whether you like it or not, I belong to you.

Sometimes suffering is just suffering. It doesn’t make you stronger. It doesn’t build character. It only hurts.

So this is what   you become when love closes its door on you. Less of a human, More of a ghost, Less of a person, Just haunted bones.

To say goodbye is to die a little.

The thing is - fear can’t hurt you any more than a dream.

For once, I don’t feel fine. Fine is such a mediocre feeling to feel. I’m sick of hearing it. How am I? No, I’m not fine, I’m brilliant, I’m filled to the brim, I’m high, I’m miraculously happy.

Hope is not a substitute for pain. Hope is in spite of pain.

You are a work of immaculate art. I yearn to learn your every angle, but wouldn’t know where to start. I ache to breathe you in like air, but your aura is polluted. I know she’s done something to you; your apathy leaves that undisputed. It’s left your face cloudy and you appear to emanate gray. I want to add color to the spectrum and shelter you from the rain. It taints the atmosphere around you; it keeps you all alone. Let me alleviate the pain angel, let me give you a home.

In the middle of the night when you can’t sleep because the sound of rain on the rooftop and the lightning flashing through the window pane makes you remember the way she used to crawl out of bed to go sit by the storm and write to nobody in particular, you’ll finally start to miss all of her little quirks. The way that her gentle touch could calm rough seas and how her compassion radiated through countries that she had not yet visited (but you know that someday she will.) You stare at the tree outside wildly dancing in the wind and you are reminded of how her bright eyes shone in the dim refrigerator light, when together you would dance around the kitchen floor. As you make your way closer to the window, awestruck because you feel her presence throughout the room, you know that you made a mistake. She would forever be a wonderful, wild, midnight storm.

One of the most important of life´s lessons is to learn independance, to understand freedom. This means independence from attachments, from results, from opinions, and from expectations. Breaking attachments leads to freedom, but breaking attachments does not mean abandoning a loving and meaningful relationship, a relationship that nourrishes your soul. It means ending dependency on any person or thing. Love is never a dependency.

If you want to communicate with others, you don’t have to shout and bang on the table in order to get them to listen. If you are telling the truth, then you can speak gently, and your words will have power.

She hated the silence, because it screamed her frustration.

Some people reflect light, some deflect it, you by some miracle, seem to collect it.

You cannot live when you are untouchable. Life is vulnerability.
