Narcissus was a victim and it's very strange how his name got twisted to be the common descriptor for abusers. All bro did was be beautiful and walk through the forest, and a woman he didn't know jumped out and hugged him without consent, and he rightfully rejected her. And then she fucking cursed him to fall in love with his reflection and he died from being too distracted to eat. Most people don't seem to know he was cursed though, they just go "haha look at this idiot he's in love with himself what a jackass". But he had no choice.

At least people with NPD have claim to his name as well. People with NPD are also victims of abuse who develop the disorder from said abuse(the curse is basically the same as traumatising someone to the point they develop a disorder), and are misunderstood just like him.

Recently lost a friend and now I see almost everything that was associated with them as annoying as shit..(it's even affecting my other relationships because some of my other friends have some things in common with the friend I stopped being friends with so now I can't trust the friends I'm still with.)

I even see my own source and identity as bad now and I have such a strong distaste and despise for everything. It feels so bad, shameful, and I feel so aggressive and angry. Angry, scared, distrustful, and like I got to defend myself from everyone.

I’m not a big fan of the whole “both sides suck” idea some syscoursers have because while there are plenty of anti endos I want to punch in the face I think that simply boiling it down to “oh well everyone sucks!” is ignoring that one side has its ideological roots in a hategroup, borrows its structures from a hategroup and has never apologized or tried to atone for being a hategroup. And the worst part is that majority of endos probably don’t even know the origins of their movement. They are parroting bigoted beliefs and following these patterns left in the community without knowing the horrible origin of those patterns.
