Chapter 5 is now available!

“The day of the Department Competition is finally here! Everybody is stressed, sleep deprived, but fiercely motivated. Yesterday’s events did wonders for your popularity… but will it be enough for you to win the competition? And who are your real friends? Stay sharp, your department is counting on you!”

Guess what? We don’t like inconsistency either. 

And yeah, I’m well aware of Beemoov’s… weird way of working things out for NSFW content. But when we say 14+, we mean 14+. This means absolutely no nudity and explicit sex scenes like what you’ve seen in My Candy Love. Unfortunately, while we understand the interest in love making scenes, this is not going to happen in Sweet Elite. Will there be sexual tension? Yes. Will there be talks of sex? Of course. We’re dealing with teenage characters after all, lol. I don’t want to go into more detail on this topic because of potential spoiler territories, but I really want to make it clear that explicit scenes will not be included in Sweet Elite. 

Of course, if the demand for it is very high, we might very well include this type of content in our future projects! But not SE.

—- Chapter 5′s Progress Report + Lateness Notice —-

Hi Scholars, 

We’re sorry to announce that Chapter 5′s release will have to be postponed. 

As you can see from the progress report above, the good news is that the chapter is pretty much complete! In fact, all we need to do is code the last bits and send the entire thing to beta.   However, because of the crazy length of the chapter (the script is over 200 pages!!!) and the multiple choices involved (7 departments = at least 7 endings!), we do not want to rush the release. We want to make sure that everything is accounted for and tested. 

No biggie! I don’t mind talking about my birth family. 

I knew my parents before being adopted, they died in a car crash. I still miss them to this day. My dads have been super supportive and have given me a new family at a time when I needed it the most. I loooooooove them! 

Chapter 5′s Progress Report!

It is definitely in your best interest to replay Chapter 5 when it releases. 

This baby is like 40,000 words (approx. 160 pages for now) The high word count can be chalked up to the absolute crazy amounts of endings and branches. There are a lot of ways to get more information/interactions with your fave if you replay. Especially considering there are like 2 endings per department, per sub-ending, per love-interest lmao kill me

Of course, you’ll enjoy this chapter just as much with only one play! But this is a small tip for those who like to replay or to make guides for the fandom… you’re going to have a field day with this one im sorry

So… I had completely forgotten about that, but here are a few reason why this 4th episode was amazing, and even especially amazing ;

Writing (like always)

Introduction of no less than 5 characters (the teachers)

Discovering that the diversity in this game is endless (particular mention to that beautiful muslim woman. Representations of capable muslimas are too rare, and this one really made me melt)

Realistic place for Scholar. 1st would have been too obvious somehow, but Scholar still got the 2nd place, and everyone acknowledged that as amazing, surprising but fully deserved

“Arlington Sweetheart”.

Beginning of a big plot (Raquel), making us curious, without any big clue. Like. We basically know nothing but still everyone is interested.

We can develop Scholar character!!???? First time I see this in an otome game/visual novel?????

Every character got more developed

I love them all

Even got conflicted feelings about Karolina.

Tadashi is sassy without wanting it and I love that somehow, it make me laugh way too much

Alistair dark side (seriously his expression…)

Players who could not log in and/or had an error message displayed (”Connection failed SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] […]”) can now access the game fully! The bug has been fixed. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience.

The logout button (located in your profile page) will be placed somewhere more convenient to avoid future confusion.

Adding male sprites in the “Customize your character” section
