I haven't ever participated and decided to give it a go this year. Some characters aren't up due to construction or limited files on my PC.

As usual, I don't have that much time for this, but I want to try anyway. I will make attacks.

After 3 weeks of not drawing my kids, I need to make sure I can still draw them.

This message is weird. Do I need to know this?

I forgot to upload this one a couple weeks ago. It's somewhat like a response to the previous image. Giving her a little sass in the pose and really just throwing clothes on her until I settle on something.

I've been needing to draw some other characters and I had a silly thought I wanted to see. Mostly, to draw a sad, nervous little boy and feel bad for him.

Sharing a new character and species for Shadow's Mark. Alces is very important to Ebony's daily life at home, working as a heavy labor animal and also for travel. Her father bought him young, hoping Alces could carry the family and their goods for many years. At this point in time, he is in his golden years but is still ready and willing to take his routes to and from the market.

Alces is mostly domesticated, though his species is naturally more docile. During the mating season, all servines make calls across the fence and in the woods. It's the most disruptive time of the year, with males sounding their vocal range more than their horns make contact. Interbreeding is sometimes seen between different domestic/ wild counterparts. Does can produce a dairy equivalent, while bucks are best for work and occasionally meat.

Alces will eat just about anything, from grains and grasses to fruits and bark. There are a few mildly toxic plants he can process as well, making it incredibly easy to keep them when it comes to food. Their maneure can also be used in some remedies.

More fun character drawings for me. Drawing them this way could be more efficient at dumping more of this brain art everywhere. I also want to smush them together more. The top one took a few tries.

The dialog text is very flat, I'm just not worried about fixing that with silly doodles.

To make the characters more distinct from each other, I've made a rough pass at a human Ebony. She needs a haircut.

Razor's ref lore card.

Exumbras branched off from the Ramashi many many years ago, as civilization grew more complex and the demands of the people couldn't always be satisfied. They found a new deity of sorts, but that meant severing their initial connection to the spirits that brought them into the cycle.

About 2 years of off and on work, but this mask is done. As it was a more complex kit, I did have a couple big mistakes that caused problems. However, this started off as a miscast that already needed extra work.

The main thing is that I got it securely wearable. Due to how I ended up wearing it, it can fit small glasses and visibility is relatively decent compared to the last mask I finished. The jaw is responsive only when held at the end, but it doesn't slip anymore when I talk.

I already have a second version of this mask waiting, so I'll be sure to improve upon the errors I made in this one. Still, it's gonna look sick on my wall with the others I've made.

A small lore ref sheet for Ebony. This is the most basic of the abilities as Caelux deals mostly with the life cycle and spirituality. Sarutia's land is renowned for its natural resources and supposed wells of Vitura.

Vitura is the life energy within all things and could be compared to what magic means in reality. Gods are thought to have been the source for the Ramashi's gifts, but there haven't been any recent stories of their words or visits.

Ramashi is a title that many took with pride, knowing that they would become wise guardians of their peoples. The gift is somewhat random and a family of regular people could be blessed with special children.

I made these months ago to play around with things, costumes, anatomy, etc. I am not entirely sure if I have settled with Ebony's clothing and appearance. I don't want her too pretty, but at the same time, she is the main character.

Made mostly for fun, I think Razor flexing is funny. He's hoping Ebony likes that he can lift heavy rocks.

I had a rough sketch of a more distorted face for Razor and wanted to color it to see what it could look like. There are some other edits and considerations I'm debating on, but between the two designs, this one looks horrible enough for Ebony to deal with. Needless to say, normal Razor is my preference and he would agree.

As for lore, he is a creature of folklore, intended to keep children out of trouble. Ebony knows the rhymes, but did not grow up in the shadow of the Exumbra. They were purged from Sarutia a century ago.

I am a little miffed, I don't understand the definition of what a furry is.

My side project is almost done. I've been chipping away at it for probably 1.5 years since I got it. There's still a bit left to do in hardware to make it wearable, it's still in 4 pieces, but the paint is placed. My goal is to get this done before Lvlup.
