Let me feed you,

Laughing, Jae shook his head as she apologized and finally got the door open. The young chef didn’t think anything of it, weirder things have happened. Still. There was an electric charge to the air just then that he couldn’t ignore.  Jae had come to enjoy Moon’s company over time. He looked forward to their meetings. Whether they met up to brainstorm different menu ideas or to just hang out and grab a drink, neither matter to him. He wanted to be near her, and continue to see the inner workings of her mind. The door to her cafe, on the other hand, seemed to have other ideas. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you had changed your mind.” He teased,  Sticking close by, his smile curled easily at his lips as he finally took her in. For someone who had been cooped up all day, Moon certainly didn’t look it. And maybe he had let his guard down and allowed himself to check her out. Jae appreciated her beauty and had no qualms about letting that be known. Usually, he would’ve been a little more tactful about it. Not tonight. 

Jae was more than a little eager to find himself back in Moon’s presence again. He’d found her to be comforting, a great conversationalist, and maybe, just maybe, the center of some interesting thoughts. Which most of the time the young chef could keep in check no problem. Above all else, Jae simply enjoyed her company and the time he got to intimately see how her mind worked. If he could get her to laugh in the process than that was even better!  Seems that day they were both in need of a bit of a break from the agitations of business, and what better way to shake the day off, then to hang out with a like-minded individual? Jae gave himself a quick once over before exiting his car and making his way up to the cafe door. He wasn't too dressed up. Just enough to impress any higher-ups at the meeting, but also comfortable enough that he could find himself at a bar if the day called for it. Today, he'd be ending his day with coffee and Moon. A perfect combo. Better than any frosty mug of beer in his book.  Jae made a short trip of finding himself behind the cafe door and knocked to be let in for extra measure. He could see her pretty red hair through the glass. His smile was tugging at his lips before he could stop it in its tracks. 

Yes! Everyone worked hard today. Time for them to enjoy the rest of their days before it gets too late. I’ll be there soon. Maybe I can even help you a little too? @moonsunlife

I’m giving them ten maybe fifteen more minutes before I pull the plug. We covered a lot, and I’m sure that I am not the only one who has checked out. Oh? Well, that makes sense. It’d be kind of weird if you were super particular. Gotta be somewhat flexible when coffee is quite literally your life. I was just about to ask if you were there because that was on my mind. Both. I have to be careful or my team will start to see my eyes beginning to cross. I’m so over these meetings. Ah, coffee. The drug of choice for all of us hard working humans. How do you take yours?  @moonsunlife

Testing out new menu items and a meeting for a possible new space. I’m already tired and we’re not even close to being finished. Honestly, may put a pin in this soon and regroup tomorrow—How is your day going? @moonsunlife
