there are only 2 genders

so i clearly haven’t come to this horrible website in awhile but noticed this question in my inbox today and at least wanted to give you a reply with my own opinion. I think that a lot of people are confused between these two concepts, for example I am female- born with girl parts and all that but i’ve never had any confusion or dismorphia about my body. why? because i don’t associate my sex/gender with my personality and interests. I grew up enjoying things that are stereotypically ‘male’- like video games and the clothing i’d prefer to wear but i never once thought that made me male in any way. I find there are lot of people who struggle to disassociate their personal interests from their idea of gender.in society things have predominantly been split between activities for men and women but its not a concrete law, its just marketing (yet some special snowflakes take it personally for some reason). just because i’m a girl, doesn’t mean i have to enjoy make-up and typically girly stuff. I honestly have no interest in things most women enjoy but i am still a woman- it doesn’t lead me to think i need to be a man or associate as one in any way. It’s honestly sad when people take their sexuality or gender and use it as some sort of personality trait- as if it defines them in any kind of way besides biologically. hence why i will never agree with anyone who thinks gender/sex (same thing to me?) goes beyond male and female. your personal interests, hobbies and passions do not determine or change the sex you were born with. i am wording this badly and can ramble forever about it, but that’s my general opinion.
