This one was very fun to work on, and I got to try out a ânight vision goggleâ type shading, and the challenge of working with just monochrome except for the light was interesting!! Messing around with perspective and rendering metal bars was fun too.

Went searching in To Carry On to see what variation of colors Piccolo has, and couldnât really find any concrete ones besides the color of his sash/belt, so I went with his colored manga/movie colors. I really like how the gold and red ties him to Shenron and the Dragon clan vs the pink, even if the pink is more iconic and memorable. Green man looks good in gold and red, sue me. If there is in fact mention of his arm thing colors and I missed it thatâs on me.
Anyway! Working on the colors and the BG is a little slow going bc Iâm still unfortunately healing and have to walk around, but itâs better than the very first day, so thatâs a plus for me!
