To celebrate Steinway’s 600,000th piano, furniture designer Frank Pollaro created The Fibonacci, a piano whose Macassar ebony veneer features the Fibonacci spiral. “Combining the universal languages of music and mathematics suddenly made perfect sense.” Pollaro is quoted saying in the press release. :)

Henryk Gorecki’s Symphony No. 3 Op. 36, a.k.a. Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, with Zofia Kilanowicz as soprano. The first time I experienced this piece, I was laying in my living room with an autoplay app running, randomly throwing on different songs. The 2nd movement of this monolith came on and I was very deeply and immediately in love. The attention to chordal stacks and tone emphasis is astounding. Though subtle, it shall move you.
