Keep doing what you’re doing. I love seeing your work 😌

Idk if requests are open but, could you do something for Henry and Macy with a friend who's a mother like figure for them? Idk if it's kinda stupid:(
We don't judge here and it's not stupid at all :) Requests are always open unless I remove the option for them to be, just for future asks!
Unconditional Love
Sum: Henry and Macy haven't had the best life even if their mother did everything she could, still she wasn't around much and instead let her friends daughter babysit causing this to start a small family bond between the three.
"Y/n, why isn't mommy around?" Macy asked looking from the swing set towards them. They smiled from the bench back getting up, "Don't worry, she has a lot to do that's all. I promise she'll be back." Macy nodded swinging a bit, Henry was collecting rocks. He had a good eye for them too since most were really pretty or special.
"What about daddy?" Henry immediately looked to Macy and Y/n knowing his story, went over to hold him secure to let him know he wasn't around, he was safe. "He's working, we're leaving in a few days though to a happier place." Henry leaned into the hug and closed his eyes keeping his rocks close. "Why, will we see them both again?" Y/n shook their head, "Only mommy and uncle Arthur are coming. Daddy said he didn't want to but don't tell him anything." Henry suddenly shook his head, "Please Macy don't say a word!!" Macy nodded swinging again until it was time to leave for dinner.
They all went inside after a 15 min drive home and started watching TV while Y/n cooked dinner. Until the room went silent from so much laughing, Martin was home.
Y/n immediately turned off the stove and calmly went to the living room, "Good Afternoon Mr. Greywhinder." He nodded and went to the basement. Maybe it was time to go...Gloria was at Arthurs house, a quick call in the middle of the road out of town will do.
Once the kids ate dinner, Y/n started to quietly load the bags in the back and prepared the kids to be cozy and warm enough to sleep. The baby in the car seat in between the box of items beside her and Macy on the other side.
"Come, get in, I'll go get Ava." Henry lead Macy in and locked the doors to their side only leaving Y/n's opened. They quietly went down the hallway passing Martin's room already knowing not to make it seem like they knew something was up.
"Come here Ava, you're so adorable." Y/n picked them up and walked back to car, set Ava on her car seat and made sure everything was here, ready to go. Quickly, they turned the car on and goodbye to an old home.
It's now 12 AM having already called their mother and uncle everything, Henry hearing it all let out a sigh and smiled. "What's that smile for kiddo?? " he only laughed nuzzling his blanket, "I've always seen you as a mother, who kept me safe during my darkest times and even kept monsters away from me and my sisters. Mother wasn't there so much...but you mean a lot to us, like a second mom!" Y/n felt a bit teary remembering the moment she was told Martin's abusive behavior. But he's safe now, with them. Him and his siblings were also always kids to them.
:D
Perfect Example of A Perfect Toy...
Sum: ToyMaker catches an eye for someone that seems to be a good use for his creation until being filled with 'unknown' emotions.
"What else...what else is missing...there's got to be a way I get that missing piece, it'll make the doll talk to even react to human emotions.." Hours went by as the only sound that filled the room was his foot steps pacing back and forward. What else was all that was in his mind. Damned be the one to interrupt.
"Good afternoon-" "BE QUIeeeGOOD AFTERNOON." He quickly fixed himself upon seeing his new customer. Curly/Straight/Wavy Hair with H/C, a nice sundress/outfit, and lovely natural features. It looked like they barely had any makeup on and still looked amazing. But do you think he'd paid attention to all that? No! He's the ToyMaker! This was his chance to get his final piece for his doll to be perfect.
"Why hello. How could I help you?" ToyMaker said with a grin and slight joy walking towards Y/n. "I'd like to work here of course. I see you're hiring for new employees?" They said smiling and pointed to the poster outside. He nodded taking them in quickly and placed them on a certain spot for the job. The cash register. He didn't want them around behind the door, it was simply off limits.
"Tell me if you need anything, just don't go back here." With that he left and Y/n began sorting out everything around them. They wanted to feel welcomed and it's not that they weren't already but the place looked like it wasn't cleaned since...
"When was this last cleaned.." They thought about asking the ToyMaker for cleaning supplies to wipe and maybe do a few adjusts but maybe he's too busy for such ask. Why not look around instead..why was there a red stain on the floor? Taken a closer look, the stain wasn't just recent, it had the color or blood and when smeared with a napkin to clean up, it was blood.
"Is there a problem?" The sudden voice gave a small fright and made Y/n turn calmly and shook their head better not to say a word but the ToyMaker already suspected something. He looked down seeing the napkin and grabbed their hand for a closer look. "Where and what." He asked taking it from them and moved them aside seeing the toy drip. "It's dripping blood from the toy...and the smell-" "Leave and come back tomorrow." They were about to ask another question until being lead to the door and have it shut on them.
"It was coming from the toy.." Y/n suddenly came to realization and looked back but the door was cover but a shelf unable to look in between cracks or anywhere.

✎ᝰ┆Slashers as Art Movements (PT. 2)
Note: Hey! I wanted to thank everyone who liked the first part!! Let me know if I should make more, or similar, posts! c:
Norman Bates: (Greek) Classical Period
The Classical Period was one that focused on making the human form striking and ideal. Like the Spear-Bearer, Bates is the Canon—ideal standard—of slashers. The same can be said for Psycho (even if it is not the first or definitive example of a slasher film). Additionally, like Psycho and its main antagonist, the Classical Period is widely influential and has profoundly impacted its successors.
╰─▸ "Doryphoros (Spear-Bearer)." Polykleitos, 440 BCE, bronze [original].
Art the Clown: Dada
Dada was a nonsensical and confrontational movement, responding to senselessness and violence. Art the Clown, like many artworks from this movement, is irrational in a way that is surprisingly clever. Though Terrifier is not necessarily a classic slasher, it is worth appraising based on its detachment from traditional slasher motifs.
╰─▸ "Fountain." Marcel Duchamp, 1917, (readymade) ceramic.
Billy Lenz: Abstract Expressionism
This variant of Expressionism has its roots in Surrealism and developed with the goal of exploring idiosyncrasies and embracing inner chaos. To put it frankly, Billy IS chaos. Everything, from the mind to final composition, remains in the subconscious until fervent release. Furthermore, he is also a rather abstract (and underrated) depiction of the slasher.
╰─▸ "Woman I." Willem de Kooning, 1950-52, oil & metallic paint on canvas.
Harry Warden (The Miner): Realism
Realism emerged from dissent and permeating change. It rejected fanciful, bourgeois styles in order to depict authentic, earnest compositions of the working-class. The tones of these artworks were somber and laborious, like the lives of those depicted throughout this movement. Harry Warden is a product of bourgeois negligence—the most severe reference to this movement's legacy.
╰─▸ "The Stone Breakers." Gustave Courbet, 1849, oil on canvas.
Daniel Robitaille (Candyman): Neo-Expressionism
Neo-Expressionism is a movement that challenged simplicity and conformity. In this case, an artist like Jean-Michel Basquiat is one to highlight because he was a nonconformist within a nonconformist movement. Candyman didn't just challenge the slasher genre, but the horror genre entirely. Daniel Robitaille is a representation of nonconformist ideals within a nonconformist genre.
╰─▸ "Riding with Death." Jean-Michel Basquiat, 1988, acrylic & pencil on canvas.
