Redirecting
It seems I have redirected my makeup “budget” (HA!) to candles and wax melts. I went from having one of each to having loooots of both within a month.
So. Alas, here we are. On a budget. Again.
Here’s the plan. I can do one trip to the Walmart by work for wax melts sometime next week, and then that’s it until BBW puts candles on sale for $10 or under (basically SAS). I adore the peach candles, but they seem to be bringing them back multiple years and I have two BBW/White Barn stores to go to for sales, so I will be able to stock up. (I’ll have to figure out the definition of “stock up” soon). I do not need fresh balsam now, as we head into spring.
After February, I will allow myself 1 set of melts for every one used up. One in and one out. Hopefully I will restrain myself and roll these over to fall and holiday. I will be set with spring/summer after going to the work Walmart.
I really don’t have the extra cash for this, but I do know it’s a side effect of not really being able to do anything on the weekend (it’s cold, I work at night so I still need to keep myself semi-on that schedule on the weekend). I am trying to be gentle with myself in this time of transition, but seriously, my cash needs to go to finishing off my student loans.. not making my apartment smell like a produce stand.
