I made tea twice from my lavender hyssop flowers that I planted for the bees (who have been enjoying them.)  There are still many flowers for them after my harvest.  It’s also called “licorice mint” because it’s in the mint family and the flowers have a licorice smell and taste fully present in the tea.  I’m not a fan of licorice candy, but this tea was enjoyable, and even a little sweet on its own.  When I squeezed the leaves after steeping to get the last of the essence out, the drops were purple, and you can see a faint trace of them on the side of the mug.
