Christmas means a lot of things to people, for most it’s about being with the ones you love. For the last three years I’ve spent Christmas essentially alone while some might think that is sad. It’s given me a new perspective on what it means to love myself and those that make an effort to love me for who I am. Admittedly it is bitter sweet this year as I will spend the Holiday packing up the house, in the place that has changed my life forever! Portsmouth is a truly amazing place where I have, in such a short time made so many amazing friends and memories. Some people say that friends are family we get to choose- so I would like to thank you all for choosing me, helping me recognize my potential again. Because of you all this has been one of the greatest years of my life, while I made it happen, I couldn’t have done it without what I was missing for so many years, people that believe in me. This week is my last week in this place before I move on to the next stage of life , new goals, new adventures, in what I’m told is another magical place Austin, TX. If we shared laugh, a story, a drink or juice- my last night out will be this Friday, December 28th - pre game at my place then book and bar 9PM to watch my roomie Dali McDaniels perform at the Book and Bar, then who knows?
