Hello once again. It is good to be back. You might be wondering where I have been for the last two years. Well........
Let's make a very long story a bit less long.
Numerous catastrophic events happened simultaneously (death in the family, loss of job, etc) and I found myself in a position I never in a million years expected to be.
I found myself homeless.
Found an entry level job. Tried saving up money, but as most already know, being broke is very expensive. Just now able to get back into stable housing.
But, there was and is a silver lining.
I became good friends with a woman who found herself in similar conditions the result of similar tragedies. After spending quite a bit of time together and leaning on each other for support, we ended up falling in love.
So, still rebuilding life back to what it once was as best I can. But now with a wonderful partner. Would not have survived if we had not met.
I'm so very happy to begin making connections again with friends from back before. And looking forward to the journey ahead.
