Whoops.

Sometimes, please see oftenâ Scott did things that often changed thingsâŚforever. Like that comment he made. Still hugging and shielding herself from the wolf as much as she could, Kira had soon placed her head upon her arms resting across her knees. In all honesty she didnât know what to say to him, or where to go from there. The atmosphere around them had been thick with awkward, so much that had it lingered anymore the kitsune was certain it would soon manifest into a tangible, organic being.Â
ââHave I really gained that much weight itâs noticeable?â Funny, in most cases stress can often result in weight loss. In others, harboring stress could also prevent such things. Kiraâs must have been the latter. Feeling ridiculously self conscious, a problem heâs had before hand (acutely) it was something sheâd truly rather not think about. âDonât answer that,â the young fox had decided, biting her lip as she cast her gaze down moving off the stool. âI should probably get dressedâŚcall my parents, let them know Iâm awakeâŚâ
Scott knew he had messed up, he could just feel it roll off of her and in this moment there would be nothing he could do to change it. He slowly stood up, head bowed as the weight of making Kira feel anything less than loved and beautiful fell heavy on his shoulders. He sat on the stool across from her, pushing back his hair from his eyes when he looked up at her.
He was about to answer "No, of course not," but was cut off at the first syllable and just let it hang in the air. "Kira, we really should stop off at Deaton and try to figure out what is going on. From there I can drop you off at your house if you really prefer." Scott was timid, not wanting to rock the boat and say something even worse that may drive her further from him.
