-With violet eyes and a streak of pure Targaryen silver in her dark curls, there is no mistaking who Aelora is and her heritage. She wears both as a badge of pride; though she grew up a princess in Lys with all the privileges afforded, she longed for a home she did not know. King's Landing should have been where she grew up, within the walls of Maegor's Holdfast. Instead, she felt exiled, spurned by the people her family should rule.

-Her obsession witth both her family history and that of old, doomed Valyria only grew as she matured into a young woman, and then into an adult. Her headstrong nature revealed itself too often for comfort, though a quick tongue extracted her from many situations. Yet she could not help but be jealous of those that were at home on Dragonstone, of those that had taken her family home as their own. Were those not Targaryen dragon skulls in the crypts of King's Landing? Was that keep not built by Aegon the Conqueror?

The man spoke of young couples, and though Vaella was unwed themselves, they rarely thought in such intimate terms unless it was to judge what such a union would bring to their respective families. At least this stranger was wed, so Vaella did not have to have her guard up so constantly. 

"I am Vaella of house Velaryon. And you are?" By rights, he should have introduced himself first, but Vaella would not hold it against him. Inhibitions were down as drink flowed and with the simple statement about his marriage, the man would hold no intentions against or for them. 

But the arrival of the Targaryens- now THIS was interesting. With a poorly concealed smile, Vaella watched as they marched beneath the three headed dragon, both the Targaryens known and those that came from Lys, seemingly out of rumor and myth. A goblet of the finest Arbor gold was in their hand and they watched the light catch it.
