fun facts about levina!

she’s got calluses on her fingers and palms from archery and climbing trees

tbh she probably has stray scars here and there from little mishaps – scraping her leg on a branch, for example

she has an eye for liars, yet when she’s close to someone, it’s harder for her to believe that person would lie to her

she’s known to talk to animals, carry on full conversations as if they understand even if they aren’t talking back. this earns her a few odd looks

levina once made herself sick trying to out-eat her brother; she did manage to out-eat him, though, so she didn’t regret it

i feel like she loves the idea of love but would be so frikkin oblivious if someone started to show interest in her

i don’t think levina really thinks about romance a ton. it’s not a foreign idea, but it’s kind of on the back burner compared to everything else going on, even before things go downhill for her family

she’s the friend you can dare to do just about anything and she’ll frikkin do it

norvin had to fish levina out of the lake after her attempt to swim in the icy waters to retrieve a wooden carving – it was a sweet gift from a friend that one of her childhood bullies tried to rid her of

some more fun facts about levina!

was a total daddy’s girl when she was a kid. she went through a period of being embarrassed about it and refusing her father’s help and crying out at displays of affection ( “ father stop it – you’re embarrassing me in front of my friends! ” ) , but lev got over that phase quickly and just threatened to punch anyone who made fun of her ( happened only once after that threat ) .

she was kinda violent as a kid, but mostly bc she played with a bunch of boys who often angered her by trying to exclude her from certain games for being a girl or by teasing her for reasons pertaining to her gender. they learned quickly that they couldn’t hold levina back, though ( no one really can, honestly ) .

lev is still kinda?? violent but in the way that if you push her temper far enough, she just might punch you. probably won’t break out into a full out fight, but she’ll give you a nice bruise to remember her by.

levina is proud of her title and her family name; however, she isn’t the type to stress being addressed as “ lady blythe/levina. ” all the servants who deal with her regularly probably just call her by name save for when the other blythes or other nobles are around.

her father didn’t interfere with the fights she got into as a kid partially bc levina desperately insisted he didn’t and partially bc he wanted lev to learn to fight and win her own battles. it was a lesson she didn’t really need to be taught since she’s always preferred doing things herself, but a lesson he wanted her to learn nonetheless.

lev avoids her mother after norvin’s death. alvina, too, but she gets over avoiding alvina real quick bc lev’s sister won’t have any of that avoidance crap. but ludella blythe can’t look at levina without seeing the cause for her son’s death and levina can’t look at her mother without suffocating with guilt.

levina likes to walk around the village her family is responsible for, often playing with the children and reading for them/telling stories for them on occasion. there’s even a seamstress who she enjoys assisting, though due to lev’s sub-par sewing skills, she mostly just runs deliveries for her.

levina takes great pleasure in proving others wrong and surprising them. there’s also a particular thrill in defying someone who demands obedience,

the friend who’d call you at 2 am asking if you wanna go hang/go on an adventure, then is all, “ look out your window ” and she’s there, standing under your window waving like it isn’t 2 am in the freaking morning

honestly i don’t know how badrick and ludella survived having levina as a child bc she was hiding and running away from her caretakers and disappearing for hours and getting into fights and trying to skip her lessons like frik she didn’t really change much either once she grew up

seriously tho levina gets so mad about the limitations society tries to force upon her bc of her gender
