Once upon a time I was a 12 year old girl in middle school and I had very confusing feelings for one of my friends. I'm currently a 30 year old man and so is the friend in question (who is now my partner).

My partner was telling me how they first found out about the concept of being gay. They, and one of their younger sisters were watching On Demand (or something. Like, streaming before streaming if you're too young to recognize that). They all came across an anime where two boys kissed.

My partner recalled shrieking and pausing it like "I didn't know boys could do that :O". They sent their younger sister to retrieve their slightly older cousins to view the anime in question. They were all enraptured.

This was very funny. All the people involved (minus one) are queer now.

I told my partner to ask me how I found out.

"How?" my beloved partner asks.

"You told me."

Cue laughter.
