An “empty house” is a house where no planets or luminaries are present. It can indicate a part of your life that isn’t as celebrated as other areas of life. Interpreting empty houses is always best done when looking at one’s entire chart. For example, an empty 9th house could indicate someone who may feeling disconnected from their spirituality, but extremely strong Sagittarius or Jupiter influence in their chart could change this interpretation. Everyone has at least a few empty houses, so they won’t manifest in a negative fashion for everyone.

In general, I prefer to interpret empty houses as the following:

An empty first house can indicate a lack of personality or confidence. Their identities are not always set in stone and are prone to being confusing. They have more trouble than others finding their place in the world. 

An empty second house can indicate a lack of interest in material objects. They don’t allow their possessions to determine their life. They are prone to having difficulties with stability. It’s common that this instability is related to their most prized possessions. 

An empty third house can indicate difficulties with learning and communicating. They are often people who enjoy being alone and would rather use modern ways of communicating. They are prone to having nervous feelings in social arrangements. 

An empty fourth house can indicate a detached relationship with families or someone with little feelings of being “at home.” They are prone to having issues or detached feelings as a child. They may feel that their parents are more over-protective than other parents. 

An empty fifth house can indicate someone who doesn’t focus much on children and procreation. They get bored easily and tend to only have a few major interests. They don’t believe that the ultimate life goal is to procreate. They don’t always hold sex to a high importance and may indulge in casual sex. 

An empty sixth house can indicate a person who relies on others perhaps more than they should. They are prone to illness and likely won’t have a career that is service-based.

An empty seventh house can indicate a person who has a lack of interest in relationships. They don’t allow their relationships to determine their life, and they are prone to have trouble compromising.

An empty eighth house can indicate a person who takes many dangerous risks. Their life may not change much and they are prone to having trouble allowing others into their life.

An empty ninth house can indicate issues or detached feelings with spirituality and beliefs in higher beings. They are prone to feeling tied to their childhood and may dislike change.

An empty tenth house can indicate someone who has seen many ups and downs with their reputation. They have trouble staying organized and may find that their careers don’t seem to “fit” them.

An empty eleventh house can indicate someone who has difficulties with maintaining many friendships. They tend to only have a few very close friends. They are prone to being practical people with few ideas about the future.

An empty twelfth house can indicate difficulties addressing stress or deep fears. They are prone to keeping things in the open and have a hard time keeping secrets. They often feel more pressure than others.

Nymphe 875: In the Houses and Signs

Nymphe in Aries/1st house: Nymphe becomes a nymphe of fire amidst the war, chaos, and power of the ram. With Nymph in aries, you may connect deeply to the element of fire, in a metaphysical and magickal sense. When you want to be coquettish or flirty, you may be direct, playful, and even a little mean to get someone’s attention. You may have a formidable, fiery and enthralling beauty, and also have a high libido.

Nymphe in Taurus/2nd: Nymphe is at home among the groves, and glades of the Taurean landscape, like a Melissai. With Nymphe in taurus you may connect deeply to the element of earth, in a metaphysical or magickal sense. When you are being flirtatious or amorous, you are sensual, provocative, an deeply physical, you may act innocent to get someone’s attentions. You may have a potent, rosy, and heady beauty, and a high libido, but low motivation, preferring a passive role, however the powers of attraction are massive.

Nymphe in Gemini/3rd: A nymphe of breezes and air like the Aurai. With Nymphe in Gemini you may connect to the element of air metaphysically and magickally. When you are being flirtatious or amorous, you are very verbal and coquette, and know exactly what to say with your words, you may be fond of playing games or tricks on those you desire. There may be a wispy, windswept, wiry, long limbed beauty here. The libido is greatly dictated by mental interest, and the chase is the best part for this nymphe.

Nymphe in Cancer/4th: A nymphe of the sea, in all its wisdom, and glory, a Nereid. You may feel magickally or metaphysically connected to the element of water. When you are being flirty or coquette, you can come across as mothering, emotional and mysterious to entice, and lure the unwary into your waters. There may be a luminescence, and an otherworldly glow to you, as if you are a mermaid. He Libido is influenced by the emotions, thus is not overly at the forefront, sex can create emotional attachments for these ones and is not seen as a fun chase or pleasure.

Nymphe in Leo/5th: Nymphs of the sunset, the Hespirides, glorious, and golden. You may feel magickally, and metaphysically called to the element of fire, When you are being flirty, you are flattering, grand, and lighthearted, you love to make others laugh and you like to be made to feel special in return. You may have an inner glow, and something about you seems to just be radiant, and your smile may be noticeable. You have a high libido and enjoy the chase, sex is a game to be enjoyed.

Nymphe in Virgo/6th:Like the epimelides, nymphs of pastures, orchards, you are luscious and fertile. You may feel magickally and metaphysically connected to the element of earth. When you flirt, you can seem reserved, witty, and nurturing with all of your practical advice, and quips about what needs to be changed about life. You have a very innocent, yet seductive beauty, the lips may be prominent. The Libido is usually very controlled and needs a locus to be acted upon, but they deeply enjoy physical delights

Nymphe in Libra/7th: Nymphs of the clouds Nephelai, powerful, and enchanting. You may feel magickally and metaphysically drawn to the element of air. You can be very verbally flirtatious and coquette, and love to act like you don’t know exactly what your doing. You like the attention.  The beauty is almost manufactured in a way, symmetry and precision. The Libido isn’t overly high, and the chase is the focus of this placement.

Nymphe in Scorpio/8th: Nymphe in scorpio is a Lampade, a torch bearing nymph of the underworld, mysterious and raw. You may feel magickally or metaphysically drawn to the element of water. Flirting for you is a very intense, and passionate deal for you, and you can overwhelm or possibly come across in a scary or overbearing fashion. The beauty can be very deathly, and sexed, like a vampire. The Libido is high and controlled, however sex creates connection and cannot be treated as a game for them.

Nymphe in Sagittarius/9th: With Nymph in sagittarius, the Mainad is manifested in her orgiastic, ecstatic revelry. You may feel magickally and metaphysically drawn to the element of fire. Flirting for you is a fun adventure, and should make for laughter, but also philosophical conversation. The beauty exist in exaggeration, and caricature and can delight the senses. The Libido isn’t overly high, but sex is a fun game, and activity for this placement  

Nymphe in Capricorn/10th: With Nymphe now sitting atop the mountain, she is an Oread, of the fir, and conifers and cold of altitudes . You may feel magickally connected and metaphysically connected to the element earth. Flirting can seem very put together, sophisticated, and proper but with an underlying bawdiness. The beauty is doll-like and lush/ The Libido is high, but contained. Sex usually leads to a desire for commitment and it is not treated like a game, but can be used to acquire power.

Nymphe in Aquarius/11: Like the Asteriai, nymphs of the stars, you may feel connected to the element of air. Flirting can be very dizzying, from making jokes, giggling and be generally charming, to being stoic and cold in the next moment. The beauty is serene and celestial, the Libido is moderate, but very controlled, and there is a strong need for mental stimulation, the sex is seen as a bonding activity.

sagittarius: cut a hole into my eyelid when i was trying to trim my false lashes while they were already attached

capricorn: bought a train ticket for the wrong month bc I was buying them two months in advance

aquarius: named a character ‘augustin rivers’ after reading the fault in our stars and thought it was very clever and original

🦂 relationship with the mother is VERY intense (even if you are distant or close, your mother plays a HUGE role in why you act the way you act)

🦂 can oddly go from revealing to extremely closed off within a blink of an eye (unless paired with Scorpio Sun)
