School Problems

The fact that so many kids would rather suffer a sever physical trauma, such as a broken bone or concussion, just to miss a day or two of school says something about our school system. The fact that most kids won’t miss a day or two of school because of a sever physical trauma for fear that they’ll get behind and end up failing says even more about our public school system.

It has been scientifically proven that humans beings are naturally curious animals and by nature wish to seek out new information. So the fact that so many kids would rather suffer a severe physical trauma than have to attend school shows that there is probably something wrong with the system.

There are 24 hours in a day. A healthy teen should spend (at least) 10 hours sleeping, 1 hour eating, 1 hour socializing, 1 hour exercising, 30 minutes on hygiene, and 30 minutes doing pleasurable activities. Since teenagers are legally required to go to school for 8 hours a day, this leaves a maximum of 2 hours to do homework before it starts to become unhealthy. Schools are forcing teens to sacrifice their mental or physical health for their grades.
