I usually give a few weeks, and I think going forward I’ll be softblocking the first time around, and then hardblocking the second time (i.e. if you follow me, don’t fill it out, then I softblock, then you follow me again, don’t fill it out, and those 3 weeks roll around again). Really, it just tells me that you haven’t read or don’t care about my rules and boundaries, and I’m just not about that. Filling it out doesn’t mean I’m obligated to follow you back, but there is a 0% chance that I will follow you back if it’s not filled out.

To be clear, I don’t have a problem with what rwde is supposed to be. Sure, critically analyze the show and be unhappy with things. Cool. However, on other platforms this has, in my experience, led to a lot of uncomfortable, disconcerting behaviour directed toward someone like me who isn’t interested in the critical analysis and just wants to watch the show. In the past I’ve been unwillingly pulled into arguments that left me emotionally overstimulated, drained, and down. That isn’t fair to me in the slightest. I’m not saying the community here does it, nor am I pointing fingers. However, it has been people wearing the guise of “critical analysis” that were often terrible, rude, or even aggressive to me personally on other platforms for liking or enjoying certain ships or other aspects. I wholeheartedly refuse to expose myself to that possibility again, because it’s not fair to me as a person to have to experience that.

Damn Blake for being right. That didn't make it sting any less; it didn't make the stares any worse as they made their way through the streets of Mistral, making a small trip for supplies before departing to Argus. Weiss had only packed a few small things coming out of Atlas; she was missing a lot of essentials—real essentials, not rich girl essentials—and that was going to be a problem. Her single bit of luggage had been lost and destroyed in the airship crash, and there was no way she was going to get it back.

Unfortunately, Atlas' embargo was the problem, not her father's decisions. Frankly, the higher the prices, the less he'd sell; even he wouldn't want to raise them to the prices they were at now, not given the demand for supply. The faster they could fly off the shelves, the better for him.

If it were anyone else—another human, specifically—saying those words, they wouldn’t have been comforting to Weiss. She tried not to be judgemental, but at the same time… it was hard. She had no problems talking to Velvet; the faunus had always been kind, polite, gentle, and friendly whenever they’d talked. Sun, however, made his entrance acting like a vagabond, and well… Weiss had every reason to hate the White Fang.

“Thanks, Velvet. I appreciate it.” Even that kindness wasn’t quite enough to bolster her mood, though. Blake being gone for this long was… troublesome, and she was having to think a lot about what she said. Maybe Blake herself was different; maybe she’d believed in the White Fang when it was better, when it was righteous, when it was what it should have been: a civil rights movement. There was nothing wrong with that.

“Easy for you to say.” And to Weiss, her statement had nothing to do with upbringing; Sun was just… that kind of person. To say he had a sunny disposition was putting it very, very mildly. How he managed to stay so damned positive, she had no idea… but here, she felt like she was out of place. Leaving her father behind, staying in Vale, feeling like she had to look over her shoulder living in a tent in a refugee camp...

It was beyond out of her wheelhouse.

But that begged the question: what was he doing here, on Patch? Last she’d heard, the rest of his team had headed back to Mistral; Neptune had been relatively… well, she’d hoped he was disheartened, but he seemed eager to go home. Part of her couldn’t blame him after what happened at Beacon, but another part of her wished she didn’t feel so… alone.

First impression: Oh wow, look at this awesome new person. Where have they been until now? I love everything I see about them and I must write with them immediately, SOMEHOW. Holy shit, these headcanons are detailed; I need to know more. Maybe they’ll write with me? I hope I don’t come on too strong; I have so many characters I want to use to write with all of theirs!

Current impression: *grabby hands* FRIEND. Friend? FRIEND. Seriously, all of the plots and ideas you have are just..... *chef’s kiss.* And I love that you throw all sorts of AUs and characters at me, and just jump right into conversations because YES. Give me all the things. I am slow as hell, but I love All The Things, and if you come to me and you’re like “Hey, I had x idea; you up for it?” I will probably say “omg, YES” and jump right into additional plotting. 💗

But also, Mal, ilu buddy. You and Missa are hands-down two of the biggest reasons I have cared to come back to this verse and why I hold these muses as dearly as I do. I love that you’re more than willing to vibe with my Mass Effect hyperfixation and just vibe on it because that’s where I happen to be. And I love just seeing you on my dash, even if we’re not writing. It’s always fun to just tag each other in dash games or send ooc memes or headcanon memes or goofy incorrect quote memes, things that aren’t necessarily in-character, but still hella fun.

But I hope you know I’m coming for you when you finally play the trilogy. I am coming for you. Especially for all the ships. ALL OF THEM. EVERY SINGLE ONE. And maybe some Weiss AU because I did in fact write up an entire AU for Weiss and it’s a whole ass vibe.

Okay, so like—I get it. The hub blog thing was totally, 100%, a comfort thing for me. Coming from other social media platforms, it was just… more organized? and I desperately needed that?

But honestly, the communication glitches, looking back on it… hoooooooboy, if that wasn’t some level of rejection sensitivity going on over here, then I don’t know what is. Now that I’m kind of… figuring out a lot of what I’ve been dealing with, I’m kind of noticing that sort of thing? But I definitely didn’t think you were rude, I’m just… hypersensitive sometimes. (Which, apparently, is a byproduct of ADHD. Who fuckin knew????)

Aneeeewayyeeeeee… We kiiiinda have stuff going? If you wanna bring back an old one, do it, I’m game. Probably one with Salem, if we have any, but I definitely don’t have the links for any of them.
