1. Where is your blog title from?
A description for myself. I am schizo, an alien, and a boy.
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
I don't watch a lot of films these days, they make me very anxious. I think the last one I watched (or rather, rewatched for the millionth time) was Howl's Moving Castle.
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
Autumn, and cooler weather in general. Gimme hoodie weather! Also it's my town's pride soon which will be nice.
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
My answer is usually have a nice coffee out and I managed to do that (even if the coffee wasn't the best lol).
Quelle surprise after the last answer, but I love coffee. I am also partial to a vodka orange before bed. But I couldn't live without water, I drink so much every day.
Unfortunately for someone with such low energy levels, I have a high maintenance hair cut lol (a blue mohawk). It gets bleached and dyed once a month, and the back and sides wet shaved every couple of days. It's a hassle.
7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another way you want to try?
I love a night drive in a car (as a passenger, I can't drive). Especially with music playing. Never been on a plane, which my parents really want me to try.
8. Favourite month and why?
October without a doubt!!! The cool weather, changing leaves, pumpkin spice lattees, Halloween goodies in shops... can't wait.
9. Favourite time of day and why?
Probably the small hours. I tend not to go bed til 4.30/5am time. I like when everyone's in bed but not me.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
Hell no. I am shit at all sports and have the energy levels of a 97 year old. I don't enjoy watching it either, tho I did see some of the world cup games (I put it on mute whilst I listen to music so I don't get stressed or bored).
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
Lately I've been on a Frank M Spinath kick (he's in a LOT of bands lol, so I have a decent sized playlist).
Laundry!!!! High reward for low effort, and I hate doing the damn pots. Horrible on a sensory level and also endless. There are always more damn pots to do.
13. Something you learned recently?
That KFC is PFK (Poulet Frites Kentucky) in the French areas of Canada. Whilst in France, it's still KFC.
14. What could you talk about if you give a TED talk on anything?
Unfortunately I am not a master of anything, and not a jack of all trades either. I just know random bits of things. I also do not like public speaking lol.
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
That there's always the possibility of things improving, even if everything feels totally beyond hope.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself 5 years ago?
When the covid crisis is over (I know it's still a thing but I mean the height of it when hospitals were war zones), start going for coffee alone again. Don't get out the habit, else paranoia spirals and you stop doing it entirely (the position I'm in now). It's OK to be in public alone.
17. Do you believe in any luck or superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rules?
Heh. I'm schizotypal so everything is all meanings and signs, no matter how mundane. Lucky items would be my Jakobi figurine that goes everywhere with me. And probably the crystal I wear too.
18. Are you musical? (Play any instruments? Sing?) Would you perform for an audience?
Despite my best efforts, I am not musical. I always wanted to be an electric violinist, but despite years of lessons we're just not compatible. Still breaks my heart even now.
19. Write, type or speak?
Type! Far less anxiety inducing, I can take my time and have breaks to clear my head, and go back and edit before sending. Whenever I actually talk I feel like there's that Sims negative reaction sign popping over people's heads.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
Sometimes I wish people would ask how I am more often, and actually mean it. Mostly thinking of my parents here tbh. I always ask them but rarely get an 'and you?' back.
