Once the goat slept at the edge of a ravine and let its udders hang over it. A wooden cart coming down from the high forest tore off one of her teats as it passed. A cloud of milk poured out of the wound, washing away seven villages at the foot of the mountain. That was the first and last time that milk flowed in torrents in Bavaria.

The snowdrop, however, took pity on Snow and offered him its colour.
