I haven't been on here in awhile.  At least not posting. 

i THINK you probably know, but the record is officially released. it's a buy option to download, but it's priced at $0.00 with a pay what you want option. i don't expect you to download or buy it, but they are the final mixes and such and it's my first full length, and it'd be rad if you gave it a listen and (should it turn out you DO like it) encourage others to do the same. At this point, aside from doing shows (which at this juncture would be just me and the music ala laptop over soundsystem. which terrifies me.) and bugging everyone with my own constant reminders that "Hey, I make music. Look at me! Look at me!" The only way is for me to ask those of you who take something from these songs to get your copy (REMEMBER: It's FREE. ) Besides, it's streaming, so you don't even have to download it to listen. Booyah.

I do not live in the pursuit of happiness.  I do not kid myself by believing the world is inherently good or bad. I do not presume that truth is anything but perception.  The only details that matter are in between darting eyes and awkward instances. "Happiness", like romantic love, is nothing more than an ideal, and if I'm going to spend my life chasing an ideal I'm going to do it on the condition that this life I'm dealing with is exactly what I need it to be.  It is a test. It is not a gift, or a curse.  I feel no emotion more than the other and all of them are rooted in one inexplicable fire that I will deliberately direct inward and release in righteous gusts of anger or affection.  I enjoy the bitter, because unlike the contentment, it can be trusted.  I am not here to spread joy, I am not here to cause pain.  I am here because for some strange reason I was born and have not yet had the courtesy or courage to die.
