For GOT; None of the actors liked the ending, the overall production quality decreased, all prophecies went unanswered, the writers rushed the end cut it short by several episodes to be able to work on star wars and did soooo terribly THEY GOT FIRED FROM STAR WARS, and almost all character endings betrayed the established character ideals/goals/morals.

ST Season 5 wasnt perfect but the quality of effects went up, they took time to conclude character arcs and solve animosity between characters, and the crew absolutely enjoyed the finale and the scenes they got to work on. Are the Duffers perfect writers? Hell no! But they stayed true the heart of the show, and gave every single character a conclusion in probably one of the largest ensemble casts of all time.
