i'll forever miss how the internet felt before you had to second-guess the authenticity of every single piece of media you came across. silly videos used to be just silly. fun was coincidental. wonder was just wonder. digital art had character and soul. AI has taken the taste out of everything and irreversibly poisoned the creative sphere and the people still pushing it forward are the doom of both joy and the quality of being.

You can tell how disconnected someone is from other people if they by default assume someone does not have an experience unless they volunteer the information to all at all times

I notice this a lot with sexual abuse in particular like do you know how common it is to experience that you have to either be genuinely dumb or trying to intimidate people into silence to expect people to divulge that information to you before talking

this is probably controversial but like. transmasc lesbianism is normal and good and desirable. you can be a lesbian and pursue hrt and gender affirming surgeries without it meaning you are a trans man!

and let's be absolutely clear- this goes the other way, too. trans lesbians who are pre/no e, pre/non op, gnc, and use pronouns other than she/her are normal, good, and desirable. you have a place in the lesbian community! you are no less of a lesbian for it!
