My favorite artist, as I mentioned before is Lana Del Rey. She beautiful encapsulate sorrow, hope, joy, longing, and frustration—all with a touch of whimsical. She understands the experiences of women, and our sensitivity, listening to her music, feels like letting out a breath that you’ve been holding in all day, or talking to someone who doesn’t need an explanation, they simply know. My whole life, I’ve felt misunderstood, yet her songs bring me peace and comfort. They’ve been there for me when I’ve been drunk, broken up 🐦⬛with, barely managing to stay composed, or silently watching as people go about their day.
