Continuation of drawing Moana characters again after nearly 10 years.

Just in case you haven't still checked @absolutedream-art profile, I recommend you to do so. This artist is not just incredibly good at drawing, capturing feelings and expressions.. the writing is incredibly good, mixing a cozy style with intense scenes, slowly building a believable relationship between the characters, and development of them.

It's mostly focused on Pomni and Jax, but even if you're not fan of the couple (like me), I can guarantee that you'll feel still invested, because the script focuses on how to build a good friendship, in the first place. It's based on reciprocal trust and respect, while facing their inner struggles, always taking account of the circus adventures and the rest of the team.

The artist also has a patreon, so you can also support the hard work they're doing.

Personally, all I wanted from the original show, was just more stuff like this (character development and human feelings, rather than drama and epic scenes). I generally find love stories boring and cringe, but this one is so cozy and sweet that even myself can read it, smiling.

Adam is busy training the army and Abel neglects to preen his wings but he doesn’t want to bother his father

So he tries to preen them himself but ends up damaging his wings like he accidentally pulls out his flight feathers and due to pain his wing flaps and sprays his golden blood all over the wall Abel faints from the site of it.

Adam comes home hours later and he checks on Abel and sees him unconscious on the floor with angelic blood everywhere and has a panic attack himself

Drabble: Wing Preening Gone Wrong

Abel had a problem. A huge problem. The kindhearted blonde angel neglected to preen his beautiful golden wings, but his father wasn’t home. Abel tried to preen his wings himself, but accidentally hurt himself in the process.

„Blood... so much blood...” Abel collapsed as his injured wing sprayed his golden blood practically everywhere while it was flapping from the pain. Adam, who was on his way home, was about to get the shock of his life.

„ABEL!!!” Adam panicked as he found his unconscious darling son in the bathroom. Where the fuck did all the blood come from?! The First Man knew that he needed to stay focused. He soon found the source. Abel’s right wing was badly hurt!

„He pulled out his flight feathers as he tried to preen his wings! Dammit! It’s my fault! I should’ve taken care of his wings before going to work! I’m so, so, so sorry! Please forgive me, Sunshine!” Adam kissed tenderly his precious boy’s cheek before taking his phone to call Raphael.

It didn’t take long for Raphael to show up. „Abel is going to be alright, Adam. Don’t worry.” The heavenly healer reassured the worried sick father as he used his powers to heal the physically seventeen year old boy.

To Adam’s relief, Abel’s flight feathers immediately grew back and the wounds disappeared. „Thank you, Raph!” The Father of Humanity sighed. „No problem.” Raphael had a gentle smile on his face.

Later, as Raphael left, Adam was curled up with Abel on his bed. The Leader of The Exorcists was cuddling with his greatest treasure and held him tightly. „I’m glad that you are alright, Sunshine.” Adam whispered softly.
