no pain, no gain.

When nobody wakes you up in the morning, when nobody waits for you at night, and when you can do whatever you want, what do you call it, Freedom or Loneliness?

‎‏do not carry the worry of this world, for it belongs to Allah

O you who believe! Be patient (persevere through what befalls you in the world in Allah’s cause); encourage each other to patience vying in it with one another and outdoing all others in it; and observe your duties to Allah in solidarity, and keep from disobedience to Allah in due reverence for Him and piety, so that you may prosper (in both worlds)!

“Break in the hands of God, He’ll unbreak you. Break in the hands of people, you’ll remain forever broken. Break to no one, your heart will remain hard.”

مردم امد، مردم رفت كس نماند و كس به غير از خدا هم نميماند.

Majnun walked in front of a man that was praying and when the man finished he rebuked Majnun claiming that he’d distracted him.

An old story goes about how a young man fell in love with a beautiful girl. This girl asked him to cut out his mothers heart and bring it to her if he wished to marry her. The man only thinking selfishly killed his mother, cut out her heart and ran towards the girl. On the way he tripped and the heart fell out of his hand, as he was getting up the heart called out “oh my son, did you hurt yourself when you fell?”

“When Imām Ahmad heard that someone had a baby girl he would say to them: “Congratulations for the Prophets were mostly fathers of daughters.”

Imam Ahmad was asked: “What’s the distance between us and the Throne of Ar-Rahman?”
