But as they begun to enter the more crowded streets of the city, he released her hand and put his own in his pockets, bowing his head like he was embarrassed.
Until a scream resounded from a distant street, barely heard.
Natsumi however, heard it, and her hand went instinctively to her side. ”Did you hear that?” She asked him simply, a test to see if he had. ”If you did, let’s check it out.” she says, heading towards that area..
"A-are you sure?" Micchi trailed after her, his steps hurried and long in order to keep up with his sister. It seemed unwise to be running towards trouble (it was something Kouta would do), and while he had his suspicions about her being the white armored rider…
She still had no idea about him. Or even the fact that he was a beat rider. The search proved successful, as they come across an outdoor dining area with several chairs and tables overturned, with an Inves rampaging nearby.
"Nee-san!" He blurted, shoving her to the side as the monster hurled a chair in their direction. She would have been able to dodge for sure, but the boy acted on instinct.
And that instinct was to protect.
Yet Nee-san was talented enough not to land on her butt, instead landing on her side, and she looks back to Micchi, surprised. I should be the one protecting you...and yet, that was very well done.. she thought.
