SO I CANNOT UNDERSTAND PRENTICE’S REASON FOR EXISTING.

He’s an asshole to begin with. He never approved anything serpiente ever did or does, and was very uptight about everything. I thought he was the epitome of avian gentleman, but he can be a real asshole, seriously. He rejected Sive’s romantic gesture, accusing her of being a “serpiente dancer” (basically saying she’s acting like a whore) for wanting to embrace him and kiss him IN PUBLIC.

CAN YOU GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND GET WITH THE TIME ALREADY??? Serpiente culture is NOT evil. I understand avian culture is equally precious and it is to be respected, but his reactions are an overkill.

Seriously I can’t think of any good thing about that guy. I feel like he was created by the author solely to piss off Sive and end up poisoning Salem so he’ll be grounded (fed poison and/or clipped the wing so he can never fly again) and exiled from his proud homeland. 

I mean seriously who the fuck listens and believes a fucking rumor that Salem raped Sive?!?! like?!?!??! RAPE IS A CRIME PUNISHABLE BY DEATH, NO TRIAL NECESSARY, IN SERPIENTE LAND. As a member of the Cobriana Royal Family you would THINK Salem would NEVER do that, and he has a hot-bangin’ chick that he likes to smother in kiss everyday, he doesn’t need Sive.

SO SHE KNEW she needed this, Nicias would be the one save Hai from Ecl. 

She purposely forbade Darien from caring for her daughter, which Hai mistook for her mother abandoning her, she purposely ordered Kel to turn in Darien, which she KNEW Kel would refuse and run away, sending her into exile at Hawk’s Keep, where she KNEW Kel would meet Sebastian and have a son named Nicias who would be the Ecl rider and save Hai in the end
