The 1980s @2000AD collections from Titan Books have the best covers, and have a distinct vinyl LP vibe. Gorgeous, crazy imagination, and these ones are also printed on great paper (and at the right size). These stories detonated my imagination as a kid. My Arkham Horror adventures continue - in which Ashcan Pete gets to smack a socialite cultist with his Fire Axe, and Duke the dog is a *very* good boy. Managed to take down three of six cultists before making a run for it, and made it despite some hilariously terrible things happening. Next up: the mini-campaign climax. Finally played the Arkham Horror card game for the first time in ages, as heroic drifter Ashcan Pete (with vital help from his loyal doggo Duke). And... it didn’t turn out well, as I was defeated at the last minute by a pesky Ghoul Priest. We just finished a big, multi-day trip from Nottingham to Thurmaston (just outside Leicester) and back again, to get our LPG system fitted.
