Stephen looked up, still intoxicated, intending to apologize to whoever it was that he had bumped into. It took far more effort than he realized to do the simple act of lifting his head to look at the woman, whose light brown hair was the first thing he saw. She smelled human, and he could smell her blood. As his eyes moved upwards, they locked on her face. He didn’t recognize her immediately, and rather simply stared, his brow furrowed in confusion. The features were all familiar, and he realized that the woman he ran into just now, was the same one from earlier in the day. The vampire was quiet, simply studying her half alert face. He wasn’t in his senses enough to see that she was compelled. 

Savannah looked up to the person speaking and for a second, she didn't registered what he said. But she recognized him. It was the same man from before. The one she bumped into when she was in a rush. That arrogant, pompous and self-centered rich asshole. She didn't knew him that good or at all to judge him based solely on that first meeting, but her opinion of those with money and power was the same.

I don’t usually like to say this but—- I told you so. 

A lot of people would consider that ‘awhile’, yes. Especially because the time goes slow in Pyro Hills. Or at least that’s what everyone says.

It's natural people think that because time goes slow when you don't like the place you're in. Do you think that as well?

Happy to be here. I’ve done some sorts of dancing before but I definitely need a reminder here or there so I figured I may as well just do this. 

Do you have some experience then? Because I teach newbies and my colleague teaches experienced ones.
