❝ Dismembering bodies in bathrooms… hmm… ❞ she trailed off. Maybe she did encounter his brother before, though of course with in a different getup. ❝ –– Yeah the first time I actually ‘went out’ and ‘saw the world’, you know what I saw? Some dude trying to get rid of a couple bodies and threatened to kill me if I didn’t help, ❞ she couldn’t help but scoff. ❝ Well I do try my best to be a bit easy on the eyes. Do you need the backup or just the eye candy? ❞ she joked back. ❝ You would think that if someone that psychopathic would be more careful with his crimes. What a shame. ❞

          rhea felt a sneaky smile creeping its way up to her lips, immediately pressing her lips together in hopes to repress it before it grew into a laugh. she wasn’t the one to take pleasure on anyone’s misfortune, but his non-stop grumble was as amusing as adorable. ❛ i see. ❜ she cleared her throat, resuming her slightly stern stance. ❛ so, there’s no way you can fix it? even with a mechanic on your side? ❜ pursing her lips, she squinted, internally going over a list of agents who could aid him and his bike. ❛ i know there’s nothing major, but would you let me take a look either way? because if i don’t, i won’t stop thinking about it; cue the sleepless nights and overall crankiness—i won’t be able to carry on with my life. ❜

“Yikes.” Chlo glanced between the guy and what used to be his motorcycle, which looked like a giant clump of metal parts now. “Nothing that I can think of, no life shattering events…hey, are you okay though?” she asked, glancing over at him and looking for any signs of obvious injury. “I mean, considering that’s what happened to your bike, I can only assume you felt some of the impact…did you get hurt or anything?”

“me? sure i fell off it once but it’s nothin. ya know, i grew up on this thing. road burn is a part’a me life. but i’ll get it checked out anyway cause i know you guys around here like ta make sure everyone’s scrape-less and spot-less,” he said with a smile, before accidentally smearing motor oil on his face as he wiped his nose. “life would be better if i knew more about how ta put this thing back together.”

“The fact that you’re still alive to tell the tale would prove that you’re good at your job, having something to show for it just makes telling the story all the more interesting – I find.” Nike said, a hint of her Irish accent peeking through her words as she spoke. She was well aware that nobody required her two-cents, but that never stopped the girl from vocalizing her thoughts.

“...well, ya know...i fell off the bike and got some scraps and road burn, if that works. does that work? it should work. mostly because i really don’t know how to make this anymore interestin’. like, ya know, most of my stories are interesting enough as is.”

     “wow…y’know for a second i was listening, but you totally lost be at around the…brother part.” 

“...well, s’alright. ya don’t have’ta listen ‘m just...ya know...upset.” 

“You see, the whole high-speed, gun chase is a lot more interesting of a story when you’re shot up and not just your damn motorcycle. Now that’s a real story,” she remarked, slightly disappointed that the boy had nothing to show for his ICHOR encounter than a beat-up motorcycle.

“...well, yeah, but if i was shot up then i’d be provin’ meself not very good at me job, eh? isn’t it a good thing that i got away safe and all? i mean, unless ya want an incompetent driver...” he shrugged, rueful smile on his face. “at least in this story i’m alive.”

❝ I’m sure I can take him. No worries, ❞ she said, and reached for her glock as a reflex. ❝ I don’t know about you but most of my days are usually spent in the shooting range. And then you know, someone, ahem, Soter, decided that I should really go out and ‘see the world’. I don’t even know what that means. ❞ She stifled an eye roll. ❝ This brother of yours definitely has a couple screws loose up in the head. How does this guy even look like anyways? I mean, surely he can’t be that reckless as to wander the streets murdering people. ❞

         ❛ now that’s one wrecked bike. ❜ she tilted her head with slightly pursed lips as he explained, eyes scanning what looked more like garbage than a motor vehicle. with her hands loosely on her hips, an eyebrow kinked when he mentioned the one to blame. ❛ your brother did this? wow… he’s clearly gone out of his damn mind. did you get hurt? ❜ 

❝ more like anything i missed? ❞ nyx blinked her eyes once, twice before her vision adjusted on the blonde. languages were something nyx could easily master however, accents were impossible for her to decode. he spoke in a thick irish accent which only led nyx to stare at him, nodding stupidly as he spoke. ❝ sorry, lucky charms. i don’t think i can ever figure that accent out. especially when you talk that fast. ❞

❝ Well I’m not gonna sugarcoat it or anything, but you’re brother’s a complete psychopath. I would say sociopath if he felt any remorse, but judging by that, he probably didn’t. ❞ Galateia crossed her arms as she hovered over the blond. It wasn’t exactly rare that she was in the race track of all places, but it still felt odd to the brunette. ❝ Think you just about hit everything in your story, but what do I know ?? I wasn’t exactly there to witness it. Though, I wouldn’t mind if I just shot at him. ❞

“just browsing is all–” barbra kept her head down at the convenience store. her red hair fell over her face to cover a black eye she received the morning prior. “look– i don’t think now is a great time to make small talk. i’d just like to find some milk and get home.” she folded her arms and turned away.

“Staring is impolite and if you’d like to keep your eyeballs I would stop it if I were you.”

“well, shit, alright. but jus’ta let ya know, there are much more impolite things i could be doin’.”
