People have gotten so creative with the pictures they use for their online dating profile. All kinds of funky angles and filters to make themselves look like movie stars. Ugh! I need to see a filter free, straight on picture #soiknowitsreal. I will not be catfished. Im too old and there is too much technology. Skype, oovoo, kik, qik, facetime. What do u really look like. Also!! I dont care what your waves look like. I dont care about ur fave sunglasses or hat. I need to see your eyes and the shape of ur head to determine how attactive I find u. Smh. Too many tricks.

Thought it was an appropriate way to kick off the week and the blog. I have finally moved past all the drama and darkness of past relationships and give new people a chance to prove themselves without the shadow of a stranger looming over them. So... starting with a clean slate. While I'm not naive, I'm going into this w/ an open heart and an open mind.
