It’s late in the evening - the sun low on the horizon, its illuminating the sky in darkened shades of gold and amber. The sea under the skyline is calm, the lulled waves rocking back and forth across the surface. He’s a long way from home. Jungkook knows this. He’d left his small house when it was still bright - the sun overhead - and now, that same sun is lowering over the horizon. He knows he only has a few hours before dusk breaks and the sky is bathed in the dark hues of twilight. Nevertheless, Jungkook hops from rock to rock with experienced practice, each movement confident and skilled as he continues hiking along the jagged terrain of the sea cliffs near his town.

He hasn’t been out for a hike in a while. Mainly, because he’s practically explored every cave, cavern, and trail that surrounds his little seaside hometown of Jeju. Today, however, he’d felt particularly antsy and knew he just needed to get out of the house, wander along the cliffs by himself, and take a breather. More than that, however, was that something about today had been calling out to him. There was an inexplicable pull deep within him, one that yearned for him to leave his home. Jungkook considers himself an experienced hiker. In fact, there’s no one else who knows the area better than him. Though, with the low setting sun, he knows he’s now further than he’s ever been.

Jungkook has no idea where he is. He doesn’t know where he’s walking to or why his feet, despite aching from how far he’s walked from home, continue their wayward journey. No, Jungkook doesn’t know where he’s going or why he’s going there. He just knows he wants to, and he’s never been one to not follow his heart. Thus, he lets his legs guide him towards wherever his destination is. Every now and then, he stops to take in the scenery and breathe in the beauty that surrounds him.

And this whole notion of “feelings” towards his country is one of the most uninvolved and uneducated things I have ever heard please learn some compassion and dignity in ur humanity.
