“Austin hasn’t been doing well the past few weeks. He’d trail slower and slower on our evening walks. He started forgetting piano pieces that he’d known for years. He’d constantly complain about how much his shoulders and hands hurt. I’d give him some of my arthritis medicine, but it never truly helped. I think the stress and strain of his musician years were finally catching up with him.

I remember he went to get a glass of water in the middle of the night a little after we both settled down for bed. I was about half-asleep when he got up. Usually he doesn’t take too long to go to the kitchen and back, but his pace was consistently getting slower so I didn’t see it out of the ordinary for him to be taking such a long time. 

Rose Lafleur: the garden legacy - founder freelance botanist // ambitious, loves the outdoors, vegetarian 

Rose lived in San Myshuno with her parents for her entire childhood and adolescent years. Being an only child and never being allowed out of the apartment, she started to hate living in the big city. When she turned 18, she decided enough was enough. Rose left home with nothing but the clothes on her back and her dog Buttercup. She traveled as far as she could and ended up in a small beach town called Brindleton Bay. With all the money she had saved from her previous life, she bought an empty plot of land by the beach to plant her roots and start her legacy.
