“Nope…” Nala’s lips purse slightly as she shakes her head. “I got here at 18.. and I’m 25 now..” She said almost feeling bad she made the girl upset. 

The girl could feel it now; how hungry she really was. Though they were fed three times a day she’d missed those times considering she’d been taken well walking home from work. The thought of being here more than a few days freaked her out. “I-- can’t stay that long. I have a job-- and f-friends.” That last one was a lie, she had a baby who had been staying with her grandparents for moths, but really no one would notice her gone.

Nala turned her head slightly to see the other girl, a small smile spreading on her lips as she came into vision. “I mean, you gotta have little pleasures when you’re stuck in the same 4 walls for years.”

A breath escaped her lungs and she glanced away. Years, the word hit her like a freight train, and she swallowed hard. “The-they won’t let you go?” there was here tough resolve, all gone and not coming back.

         The smirk that CURLED onto the woman’s lips caused the BLONDE’S expression to falter momentarily, CONFUSION coursing through her as she was FILLED instantaneously with a sudden SURGE of jealousy. She had NO reason to feel jealous; except that this girl was UNAFRAID of her new surroundings. UNLIKE  Primrose who had no words to describe her own fear. “ I’m – Primrose … You’re cell neighbor .. “ She introduces.

        Seeing the change in expression, the brunette shifted in the small cell allowing her expression to turn to one of more softness, noticing the girl was rather scared. “Oh. Nice to meet you. That’s a pretty name. I’m Sara.” She gave a welcoming smile as she tried again not to shift at the others gaze. “Have you been here long?”

“Well, everybody else I’ve seen around did so color me impressed. – Yeah, there are quite a few actually. Masters, mistresses and slaves.”

“I’m not like everyone else.” she pointed out giving the girl a soft smile. Nodding her head in understand she bit her lip, “does that mean it’s as seems, if everyone is scared?” 

“Observing the new meat, is all.” he said in a leisurely  tone as he looked her over for a moment.  He chuckled softly as he took her in for a moment, her demeanor eerily calm. “You are new, yea?” he asked with a raised brow and a small smirk.

“Yeah, I’m new.” The girl answered, her voice still strong as she managed to keep her eyes trained on him. For some reason he made her feel a little nervous unlike herself but, she wouldn’t actually say.

“Thanks.” Astra’s eyebrows shot upwards. “ Few hours? You’re surprisingly calm for someone who just got abducted.”

“Am I supposed to react badly?” The girl shrugged her shoulders. “It’s not like I’m going to be missing much in here. At least there’s other people.”

“Don’t take it to heart, darling. I’m only watching because I’m curious.” He was curious how they all survived down here. When he was living in the cells, survival came naturally. But this girl seemed like she didn’t have a care in the world – which amused him. “Did you just get here or have they been hiding you away?”

“Astra.”  the brunette said, then shrugged her shoulders. “When’d they bring you?”

“Pretty name for a pretty girl.” She decided quietly, biting her lip. “Just a while ago, a few hours actually.”

He probably shouldn’t be down where the slaves were kept now that he was claimed, but it didn’t stop him. Each one of them looked so pathetic, and part of Jason wished he could get the keys from the guards and just let them all out at once because he figured it would be amusing. “Just watching.” He shrugged.

Licking her lips the brunette tilted her head to the side, her smirk widening slightly. “Watching? Little ‘ole me? Why’s that?” Sara questioned softly, clearly un-phased. She liked to be watched, the attention made her rather happy.

“ I asked if you were new. I haven’t seen you around before.”
