Diary of a Goodsprings Resident

The spirits once had the power to truly change our world, before Vennefir made them go to different time periods when they died, and took away most of their power away from them. Those with the most spirit and force of will in life, have the most power as ghosts. Unfortunately, as they are trapped in a time outside their own, they become insane, wrathful, or depressed, creating poltergeists, demons, and ghosts. Many are known to take on the appearance of spirits of the recently deceased or other dead people, for unknown reasons and through unknown means, but one can tell from their personality they are a spirit from another time. They also are frozen within a location, some larger, others smaller.

I should probably introduce myself cause if you’re reading this I’m probably dead, since I don’t tend to let strangers into my workshop and I trust my assistants not to go prospecting in my desk drawer. I am Sara,  I live in the small town of Goodsprings, I’m a roboticist, and I am technically an NCR citizen, but every trip to Freeside for business leaves me less connected to my fellow Californians. It’s become clear to me that the NCR is here for the dam and nothing else, this has somewhat shifted the focus of my studies to building a small robot army in my basement for the use in establishing an independent Mojave nation. NCR can have their power, but they’re going to pay the people here for it, and I reckon I’ll appoint a council with the Kings, Khans, Casinos, and the towns of the Mojave. For now though, I wait. Thinking of purchasing a truck and a warehouse in Freeside to store more bots, maybe start a factory.
