Which order do we think Corbeau met Giovanni and Lysander?
In my head he would have met Giovanni first. Cause Team Rocket grunts use posion types. Perhaps he started as one. Or at least had a very brief association.
Oh and look who's outside the Rust Syndicate office. Out of all the pokemon they could have chosen as a statue. They chose a Weezing.
No Weezing in the game but he does have Arbok. Another Team Rocket Grunt preferred Pokemon.
So my theory is he had some criminal tutoring breifly under Giovanni. Lysander later found him and helped him. And he took the teachings of both and it made him who is.
Do I think Giovanni needed to be connected to Corbeau? Not really. I'm a bit indifferent to the whole thing. I mean it's more fuel for my headcannons that I can slot in pretty easily.
Corbeau simply took the best of both dads. He took a bit of Giovanni's criminal side and Lysander's charitable side. And he combined them to make them who he is.
It also explains how Phillippe took such a shine to him. Phillippe likes talent.
What a crazy thing for him to say. He could have stopped his compliment at being as talented as Corbeau. But the player has him "almost" sway his loyalty.

Back again with another post of Corbeau and I'm glad we all agree, so here's more of my thoughts:
- On Gods he's taking note of every single thing, down to your little gestures. Still gotta make sure you're not a threat to the city (or become one, yk). You like to go to a particular cafe? Your favorite seat is always available. Your usual personal care brand is out of stock? No it ain't, check again. You're pouting? Hungry or upset, either way he has Philippe bring out the tea set.
- He wants to hold you SO bad even he doesn't know the extent of it. You notice whenever you visit Corbeau's office, he always gestures you to come close. Takes both your hands, kisses your knuckles. He definitely has a thing for your hands. If he was really tired when you visit, he'd take your hands and make you cradle his face (Philippe knows to give you guys privacy whenever you come around). Will invade your personal space on the couch when he says fuck it work is stupid right now
- Personally, I like to think he avoids major PDA, but less because of wanting to keep his image intact and more of "I am going to drag you into an alleyway if you push it." And while that's a very tempting thought, he believes you absolutely deserve better and that includes the highest level of comfort. Perfectly fine with handholding (how scandalous).
Thoughts under the cut are a little more SPICY:
- Corbeau is SO. VERBAL. Behind closed doors anyway because only you have the right to hear him like this.
- It does not matter who tops and who bottoms, his lips will be calling for you, praising you. He's moaning and grunting, a crazed smile on his face at the sight of you. His eyes look at you so fondly even as utter filth leaves his lips.
- Let's be real, we all had a thought of him using an aphrodisiac on you, on himself, both of yall. But the thing that gets him really going is your trust. You trusted him enough to accept the tea he brewed? The fact he's gonna give you a dose of his own poison after is the bonus itself.
- As I said above, this man is fuckin touchstarved. Corbeau would be all over you the moment you give him the go. Kisses everywhere, his grasp on you like an Arbok's coil. His eyes are rolling back and he's the one marking your neck and shoulders. Loooves the twitches of your skin wherever he touches. Makes him want to hold on tighter.
Im trying to write a Corbeau/Reader and it's currently just a retelling so far but I am. Trying.
