I want to be free from attachment. I want to be free from the pain that sits there when I miss someone close to me. I want my strength back. I want my ambition back. I want to not be sitting checking if people are online and feeling like they hate me because they didn’t reply. I want to be free from all this pain. Why is this happening? I don’t know how to fix it. I don’t know anything anymore. I lost everything I had and I can’t find my way back anymore. It makes me want to leave everyone behind and be attached to no one. Nothing. Becuase that’s when there is no pain for fearing of losing them. But with that comes loneliness. A whole other kind of pain. The kind of pain that makes you want the old pain back. I’m exhausted. I’m in pain and I’m exhausted from the pain. I’m exhausted from being scared of losing the people I love. I’m exhausted from the pain of feeling like I’m not enough. I don’t choose to micro-analyse everything. It happens. And I can’t stop it. I’m hurting. And I don’t know how to not.

My hope is that the empowerment, love, understanding and kindness that’s given to each other on this day is carried out for the rest of the days in the year and beyond.
