Loving yourself, as you are, in a society that is so often against us is a radical act. By choosing to value and care for your own health, happiness, feelings, and opinions you show others like you it's okay. By loving your lesbian self you help others do the same. 💖

Living in isolation from a part of yourself isn't fun, and it can make you feel like a fraud. You are not a fraud. Having to live in secrecy makes you no less of a lesbian. Do what you must to keep yourself safe, but find outlets where you can. If you are able, look into GSA groups at your school, meetup groups in your area, or online forums. Find a place of solidarity.

Come out when you are ready, not because you feel you owe it to anyone. Prioritizing your safety does not make you a liar or a bad person. Your coming out is not 'deserved' by anyone.
