First of all, thank you to everyone who tuned in, whether that was through creating and sharing art, or simply being active and engaged audience members! We appreciate you guys letting us run and enjoy our second (official) Sapnap+ event!
In just over 12 weeks, 7 total participants were inspired by 173 total prompts to create thirty-eight (!) fanworks. That's an average of one new piece of art being created and shared every 2.2 days! 🤩
We had a fairly even split of artwork:
±47% being written works ✍️
and ±42% being some avenue of traditional artform 🎨
10% of fills tried a non-traditional artform 💭📦
Around 23% of fills were tagged #SapAfterDark26 🌶️🕊️
The fourth week of the event was a heavy hitter, with 6 new works posted (a total of 16% of all the art posted during the event).
That being said, let's shine a spotlight on our artists and look at everything they've shared.
🔥 Artists, please feel free to use the following banners as a way to brag about your achievements! 🔥
First of all, a BIG thank you to everyone who participated! Fandom events are made possible by those who participate in events/create art as well as those who support artists. We couldn't have done it without you all.
See our final weekly round-up for links to all of the wonderful submissions!
We absolutely loved seeing the different ways our artists interpreted their prompts, as well as being treated with so many different styles and types of art. Wonderful work!
for all of your incredible artwork shared!
(Honorary mention: @itsehm for creating our animated event banner!)
We definitely have some prolific writers in the fandom! There were 45,264 words written and posted to the Archive Of Our Own collection alone! That's only 850 words short of Fahrenheit 451.
for allowing your passion to flow!
Last but certainly not least, let's give a very special congratulations to our artists who were able to call a BINGO! Very proud of y’all.
Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in!
We (Dusk and Seven) had an absolute blast running this event. We loved being able to see everyone exercise their creativity and definitely reaped the benefit of being able to see all of the incredible art that was shared!
That being said, we'd love to hear your feedback! Let us know how the event went for you, whether you were an artist or an audience member, ✍️ by filling out this feedback form🔥
If you still have ideas rattling around in your head, no need to worry! We reblog any and all late fills for an additional 2 weeks (until April 13th). If you prefer to hold on to your ideas and WIPs for another event, perhaps you might not have to wait very long… 👀
