SapnapPlus is returning very soon with a new and improved event! This time around, we're trying a slightly different format. To reflect this, we've updated the blog name - please excuse any hiccups as we go through and update links accordingly.
But not only are we unveiling a new name, we're also expanding to Twitter! That's right - the upcoming Sapnap+ event will be run concurrently on Twitter (although slightly pared down due to the platform's limitations).
We will not link any of our participant's Tumblr posts or art on the event's Twitter account. However, we will link the event's Tumblr in the account bio.
If you'd like to support us on Twitter too, go ahead and give us a follow at @sapnapplus. During the event submission window, please feel free to submit fills on both platforms! Submission guidelines regarding Twitter will be clarified when the event goes live.

Sapnap shivers as he pads home, down the cold, dark paths and towards the temple in the distance. He's been feeling awful all day and that feeling has only gotten stronger the longer the day goes on. He's exhausted now, and he wants nothing more than to crawl into his soft, warm bed in the realm of the gods and sleep for a year.
…but he can't do that. He can't do that to Dream. He couldn't hurt Dream like that, he-

Event Wrap-up
First of all, thank you to everyone who tuned in, whether that was through creating and sharing art, or simply being active and engaged audience members! We appreciate you guys letting us run and enjoy our second (official) Sapnap+ event!
Now for some numbers…
In just over 12 weeks, 7 total participants were inspired by 173 total prompts to create thirty-eight (!) fanworks. That's an average of one new piece of art being created and shared every 2.2 days! 🤩
We had a fairly even split of artwork:
±47% being written works ✍️
and ±42% being some avenue of traditional artform 🎨
10% of fills tried a non-traditional artform 💭📦
Around 23% of fills were tagged #SapAfterDark26 🌶️🕊️
The fourth week of the event was a heavy hitter, with 6 new works posted (a total of 16% of all the art posted during the event).
That being said, let's shine a spotlight on our artists and look at everything they've shared.
